Rob Lenihan's work has its roots in a world of hip hop performance, street art, and the late 80’s acid house scene. His early music and art creative outlets provided an anchor at a time when searching for an identity and forming a new inner world. An inner landscape of sights and sounds, all set against a soundtrack of electronic beats of his home city of Manchester. Classically trained, Rob’s influences are wide ranging. From early New York graffiti to the Italian renaissance, from mythology to dance floor classics. Rob enjoys condensing multiple influences into small collectible art objects layered with personal stories.
